Tonight, at 6:00pm in the Biemsderfer building, I will be reading for the George Street Carnival release party, celebrating the Millersville University literary magazine.  This will be a grand event as the publication has been out of print since 2008, and everyone is invited!

When I was a senior undergraduate at Millersville University, I was working on the Carnival and it was due to publish Fall 2009 (after I graduated).  Unfortunately, it was never printed.  Luckily for Millersville, a group of talented and motivated students have brought it back and tonight’s the night to get out there and celebrate!

This year’s issue, Spring 2012, marks a resurgence of literary appreciation and showcases the talented writers and artists of Millersville University.

So come celebrate with us, as we see how far they’ve come in making the magazine a physical reality.
